I worked with Vishal Mayo to design, Transport for the Enviroment (TFE). This is an app that can help you to reduce the the world's emissions while earning rewards. We want to encourage poeple to use publinc transportation to reduce pollution. We did this by creating a reward system. In the app the user can view their C02 history. You can also set goals for C02 impact. If you achieve your goal you get points that can be traded for rewards including free journeys. The reward system is linked to either your credit card or oyster card (London). The rewards can be activated in the app immediatly.
This is the landing page for the app avaliable here.
For the user research we conducted a survey about the public transportation in London and analysed the users data.
We also created a survey for the public transportation in Taipei. This gave us insight into what types of rewards incentivise them. We surveyed 35 people in total.
We created some user personas to help us create the project.
The user flow helped us plan out the user journey.
By creating wireframes, it helped us conceptualise the UI design.
